| Sometimes you want to check out a technique
at full speed, but you don't have, or can't afford a full set of kendo
bogu. Wouldn't it be nice to have a weapon handy in the dojo that you could
make contact with, and not create major bruises and cuts?
We've found them for you. A full line of foam weapons that will move and act like the real thing. These weapons have a solid core with foam and then nylon around them for safe impact. The solid core stops short of the tip so they are even safe for thrusts. They are very well designed, and I'm using them in my own dojo now (when I can get them away from my kids). Not only are they good solid weapons, but if they should get beat up and start falling apart, you can send them back to the manufacturer to be rebuilt! The cost is shipping and handling only. You can't ask for a better deal than that. All weapons are available in red or black nylon.
The first item you should buy is the protective
helmet. This has an open face for ventilation, and is fully adjustable.
